Q. Do I require a NZ Vaccine Pass to attend Land Rover Horse of the Year?
A: Yes you do. Land Rover Horse of the Year is operating within the NZ Covid Framework (aka traffic light system) and that means everyone attending the show will need to show a Vaccine Pass before they can enter the show. As per NZ Government guidelines, this does include all attendees aged 12 and over. We thank you in advance for your support.

Q. Can I attend if I have a Medical Exemption Pass?
A. Yes. If you hold an authorised a Covid-19 Vaccine Medical Exemption you can attend Land Rover Horse of the Year however you will need to produce this to Gate Officials before entering the show. Once verified, you can proceed to enjoy New Zealand’s largest equestrian event.

Ticketing
What are the ticket options and where can I buy them?
You can buy tickets via the BUY TICKETS link on our website or on the Gate each day.
I'm a Hawke's Bay resident, do I get a discount on my ticket?
Where can I go on a general admission tickets?
You can only access the public areas NOT into stabling/camping areas. These spaces are for competitors and support crew only.
Do I need to buy separate tickets for functions within Land Rover Horse of the Year?

Parking
is there parking at the event
There sure is. Public parking access is off Bennet Road, Hastings. Make sure to add this to your ticket package

Information Kiosk
The Information kiosk is part of the Equestrian Office which is in the Exhdition Hall. Please visit here for all your show information and assistance.
Lost and Found
We hope you don’t lose anything at the show but if you do find yourself with lost or found items please take them to the Information Kiosk..
What if I need First Aid assistance?
Are there any EFTPOS facilities?
Are there Toilets and Parent Facilities?
Yes, there are plenty of toilets located throughout the grounds and there is also a Parent’s Room behind the main Grandstand that can be used for feeding and changing children.
Is there Wheelchair access?
Yes, the main Grandstand has ramps however it is a steeper incline as you get to the top so please bear that in mind. The terrain around the main area of the show is also relatively flat and well prepared. If you need further assistance please make your way to the Infomration Kiosk located behind the main Grandstand.
Is there an official programme book for Land Rover Horse of the Year?
Show Programmes will be available and will include all schedules and rider detail. They can be purchased from Ticket Direct Booths at the entrance, or at the Information Kiosk located behind the Main Grandstand.
